Zelofun™ — How to delete your account and what happens to your data

This page explains how to permanently delete your Zelofun account, including a method that works even if you no longer have the app installed, and exactly what data is deleted versus retained. Deleting your account is permanent and irreversible.

1. Delete From the Mobile App

This is the fastest way to delete your account. In the Zelofun mobile app (iOS or Android):

  • Open the Zelofun mobile app
  • Tap the Profile tab
  • Tap Delete account
  • Confirm by typing your email address

Once you confirm, deletion is processed immediately.

2. Delete Without the App

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email:

Email support@zelofun.com from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete Account".

We will verify your identity and process the request within 30 days.

3. What Is Deleted

Permanently removed

  • Your authentication record — permanently deleted, so you can no longer sign in
  • Your private posts and their attached media — deleted from the database and storage
  • Your reactions, follows, notifications, and reports you filed — deleted
  • Your profile photo and display name — removed

4. What Is Retained

In the interest of full transparency, a limited amount of data is not deleted:

  • Public posts you made are anonymized, not deleted. The content remains visible attributed to "Deleted user" so that replies and conversations from other users stay intact. Your identity is severed from them.
  • An anonymized account record is retained for database integrity, with all identifying fields cleared.
  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained. These contain no information that can identify you.

5. Timing

  • In-app deletion — processed immediately when you confirm
  • Email requests — verified and processed within 30 days

6. This Cannot Be Undone

Account deletion is permanent. We cannot restore your account, your content, or your username once deletion is complete. If you want to use Zelofun again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
